Speech Pathology Clinical Fellowship Opportunity 2025-2026
The Miami VA Healthcare System Audiology and Speech Pathology (ASP) Service is excited to announce a full time Clinical Fellowship opportunity for 2025-2026!
The Speech Pathology program at the Miami VA provides a wide range of services and a dynamic learning environment. The Clinical Fellow will provide diagnostic and intervention services to outpatients (including telehealth), inpatients, and Community Living Center (CLC) residents. The Clinical Fellow will work and collaborate closely with specialty and interdisciplinary teams including Otolaryngology, Radiology, Nutrition, Geriatrics, Spinal Cord, Neurology, Critical Care, Military to VA (Polytrauma), Radiation-Oncology, Home-Based Primary Care and Palliative Care. We provide the opportunity to gain experience with instrumental exams (fluoroscopy, FEES, videostroboscopy), cognitive-communication evaluation and treatment, as well as various special populations (head & neck cancer, post laryngectomy voice restoration, and neurodegenerative disorders). In addition, the clinical fellow will also gain acute rehabilitation experience on our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program (CIIRP) unit.
The Miami VA is located close to Midtown and Downtown areas where there is a plethora of restaurants, shops, and cultural activities. Miami hosts Art Basel, the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, multiple boat shows, and is home to the Miami Heat, Miami Marlins, Miami Dolphins and Inter Miami CF. The weather is warm and allows residents to take advantage of the beach and Florida Keys year-round!
Position information:
Temporary, full time (40hrs/week) 12-month appointment
Tentative start date: July/August 2025

Graduation from a fully accredited Speech-Language Pathology graduate program (M.A. or M.S.) is required.
The compensation package includes base salary as well as medical and leave benefits.
